Nominations for the offices of President, Executive Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer are now being accepted by Election Officer James Rucidlo. These four (4) offices will constitute the Local 731 Executive Board. All nominations must be received by 12 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2022, on Nomination Forms and Nomination Acceptance Forms provided by Election Officer Rucidlo. Additional forms can be obtained by contacting the Election Officer or downloaded below

Nominations received after 12 p.m. on June 2, 2022, will not be valid.

In addition to electing the Executive Board, you also have the opportunity to elect a District Vice President from your district who will serve in an advisory capacity. You must be assigned to the District for which you are making the District Vice President nomination. Also, the candidate you are nominating must be assigned to that District too.

Candidates for office must be members in good standing for one (1) year as of May 13, 2022. All members in good standing may nominate candidates for any of the four Executive Offices. A person nominated for more than one position must select the office of their choice; no person may run for or hold more than one office. The term of office is three (3) years. Write-in ballots and absentee ballots will not be accepted. It is the responsibility of a member making any nomination to ensure that their nominee returns a Nomination Acceptance Form by June 2, 2022. Ballots for the election of officers will be mailed to all members on or about June 6, 2022. To be eligible to vote, you must be a member in good standing as of June 2, 2022. Ballots will be picked up from the U.S. Post Office, located on Main Street in Cromwell, Connecticut, at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2022, and will be tallied immediately thereafter at the NAGE/IBPO Regional Office, 346 Main Street, Cromwell, Connecticut. In the event of a tie vote for any office, ballots to resolve the tie will be mailed immediately following the tally and counted on July 19, 2022. Candidates are welcome to attend.
