NAGE supports the strong commitment of its leaders, staff and members to the highest ethical standards in all their dealings on behalf of the membership. An ethical culture is an essential part of NAGE's identity and its mission of justice for all.

In June 2009, SEIU's International Executive Board adopted a wide range of ethics policies and practices, including an SEIU Code of Ethical Practices and Conflict of Interest Policy ("Code"). As a local of SEIU, NAGE and all of its locals are bound by the Code.

SEIU also requires each local union  to appoint an Ethics Liaison. General Counsel Gina Lightfoot Walker (glightfootwalker@nage.org or (703) 519-0300) is the Ethics Liaison for NAGE. She is your point of contact for questions and concerns about ethics and the Code.

Ethics inquiries can also be directed to Marnie Walfoort, the SEIU Ethics Ombudsperson, at Marnie.Walfoort@SEIU.org or at (202) 730-7184.
