In continuing our commitment to helping members and their families achieve their educational goals and dreams, NAGE/IBPO is proud to announce the 7th Annual NAGE/IBPO Scholarships program. Each year, fifty scholarships in the amount of $500 each are awarded in a lottery. Applicants for the lottery drawing scholarships must be planning to attend or already attending a two- or four-year college, trade or technical school to be eligible. Scholarships are available to members of NAGE, IBPO, IBCO, and IAEP, and the member's spouse, child, grandchild, niece, nephew, or significant other. The application, which is available by clicking the link below, takes about 3 minutes to complete.
Scholarships will be awarded without regard to the sex, race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, age, or disability of any applicant.
NAGE/IBPO Scholarship applications must be postmarked by May 28, 2010. Scholarship recipients will be announced on this web site on June 21, 2010.
The NAGE/IBPO Scholarships program awards 50 scholarships in the amount of $500 each. Scholarships are chosen in a random drawing from among all applications received.
The deadline for all applications is March 1, 2010.
Through five different scholarship programs, SEIU awards 52 scholarships that enable SEIU members and their children to pursue their educational goals at accredited colleges, universities, and technical schools.
All applications must be postmarked by January 30, 2010.
The Union Plus Scholarship offers $150,000 in scholarships annually to members, their spouses and dependents. Students who are beginning or continuing their secondary education are eligible. Awards are based on academic achievement, character, leadership, social awareness, career goals and financial need.
